Katy Hughes

Katy is a senior communications professional with over 16 years of experience in the private and public sector, both within agency and in-house roles. She has worked in both consumer and corporate roles and has a proven ability to develop and deliver successful integrated PR and brand building campaigns across a portfolio of high- profile clients. As the Consumer PR Manager at VisitScotland she delivered a global PR campaign for the launch of Disney Pixar’s Brave. Katy has a passion for publishing PR and has managed book launch events for high profile authors and publishers, including JK Rowling, JD Kirk, Charlie Higson and Black & White Publishing.

Katy loves to travel and has lived in both California and Norway. She once spent a summer on an off-road tour, camping from Cape Town to Windhoek.
