Quarkie is a British headphone brand that launched its brand new collection of quirky and high quality in-ear headphones in the UK in August 2012. Muckle Media was tasked with leading Quarkie’s UK campaign.

Strategy

Muckle Media led Quarkie’s UK campaign by targeting a range of media to secure reviews, competitions and features. The aim was to raise the profile of Quarkie by securing coverage and inclusion in various events and also increasing Quarkie’s following on social media.

Results

Muckle Media has received some great coverage for Quarkie in high profile media including MSN, The Times, Huffington Post and Stuff.tv.

Following the coverage on MSN, the website traffic to www.quarkie.com increased by 400%.

Various opportunities were secured for Quarkie including sponsoring the House of Evolution show at London Fashion Week. Quarkie provided products for the V.I.P goody bags and appeared alongside giants Diet Coke, Toni & Guy and The Body Shop.

Muckle Media also engaged in Twitter conversations about Quarkie with X Factor contestants District 3 and MK1, Suzi Perry, ex Gadget Show presenter and Simon King, BBC wildlife presenter.
