PRINCE’S TRUST

Challenge

Muckle Media was tasked with raising the profile of The Prince’s Trust Scotland with key political figures and decision makers, showcasing the impact of its services while highlighting its commitment to supporting young people live, learn and earn.

Strategy

Muckle Media devised a strategy which would position The Prince’s Trust Scotland as the ‘go-to’ support network for young people across the country. Muckle Media used consultation responses; MSP/Minister letters and briefings; a parliamentary reception; an SNP Fringe Event and media relations among others to communicate The Prince’s Trust Scotland’s stance on mental health, education, unemployment and economy – all with young people at the heart. Muckle Media maximised opportunities around ‘The Year of Young People 2018’ and also delivered impactful campaigns for Lunch with an Old bag and Cash for Communities.

Results

The outcome of our public affairs and policy work has resulted in MSP, Minister and Cabinet Secretary visits to The Prince’s Trust Scotland centres across the country to highlight the necessity of funding, conversations between senior Prince’s Trust Scotland officials and political figures, and stronger relationships between The Prince’s Trust Scotland and external stakeholders.
